POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Generalist – Benefits & Talent Acquisition supports Concepts NREC by administering employee benefits, leading recruitment efforts, coordinating onboarding activities, and providing day-to-day HR support. This position partners with managers throughout the organization to attract and retain talented employees while ensuring a positive employee experience and compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.


The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a professional engineering and manufacturing environment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and hiring strategies.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements on appropriate recruiting platforms.
  • Source qualified candidates using online recruiting tools, professional networks, employee referrals, and educational institutions.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
  • Coordinate reference checks, background checks, and employment offers.
  • Maintain applicant tracking records and recruiting metrics.
  • Support internship, co-op, and university recruiting initiatives.
  • Participate in career fairs and recruiting events.

Benefits Administration

  • Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness benefit programs.
  • Coordinate new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and annual Open Enrollment.
  • Serve as the primary employee contact for benefit questions.
  • Work closely with insurance brokers and benefit vendors to resolve employee issues.
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and assist Payroll with deduction accuracy.

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and ensure completion of employment documentation.
  • Coordinate new hire introductions, facility tours, and training schedules.
  • Assist with employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct exit interviews and coordinate offboarding activities.

Human Resources Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HRIS records.
  • Prepare employment letters, status changes, and personnel documentation.
  • Assist employees with HR-related questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee information.
  • Assist with HR reporting and compliance activities.
  • Maintain recruiting, onboarding, and HR process documentation.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Demonstrated experience administering employee benefits.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting.
  • Manufacturing or engineering industry experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or comparable HR certification.
  • Familiarity with recruiting technical, engineering, and manufacturing positions.

The compensation range posted represents the full salary range for the role. Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate’s experience, skills, and the position level ultimately offered.

Salary Description
$65,000 to $85,000 per year
