Position Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Men's House residential treatment program, including clinical operations, staff supervision, and compliance with licensing and contractual requirements. The program operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.

Qualifications

  • Current LADC license.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or another relevant human services field preferred.
  • Current CCS credential or eligible to obtain within six months.
  • Minimum of two years' experience providing direct substance use disorder treatment; residential treatment experience preferred.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience in addiction services or a comparable leadership role.
  • Experience with electronic health records, email, and standard computer applications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Purpose

Manage residential treatment services for adult men while supporting residents in recovery through counseling, education, role modeling, and compassionate, trauma-informed care.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the program manager and positive role model for the residential program.
  • Supervise licensed counselors, support staff, and services for up to fifteen residents.
  • Develop staff schedules and approve payroll.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to ensure high-quality treatment services.
  • Assess and evaluate clients in collaboration with staff.
  • Demonstrate and mentor the 12 Core Functions of an Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
  • Orient and mentor new staff and facilitate team meetings.
  • Maintain facility safety and compliance with state licensing standards.
  • Conduct supervision, case reviews, and clinical staff meetings.
  • Provide required supervision for program staff.

Secondary Functions

  • Oversee medication systems in accordance with physician orders and agency procedures.
  • Promote a therapeutic group living environment.
  • Coordinate staffing to ensure 24-hour program coverage.
  • Maintain required professional licensure and continuing education.
  • Monitor program operations, billing coordination, and financial performance.
  • Develop community partnerships and support referral development.
  • Ensure donations are documented and acknowledged.

Additional Duties

Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director, Director of Operations, or Executive Director.
