Atlas School LLC seeks a Student Services Career Advisor to provide individualized career advising to students and alumni pursuing careers in software development, computer science, and related technology fields. Conduct mock technical interviews and provide feedback to strengthen students’ coding, problem-solving, and communication skills. Develop and deliver workshops on technical résumé and portfolio preparation, software development interview readiness, networking, and technology career pathways. Research and interpret labor-market trends in the technology sector to inform advising practices, employer outreach, and career readiness programming. Plan and coordinate tech-focused career events, including engineering career fairs, employer panels, and guest speaker sessions on emerging computing disciplines. Track and analyze placement outcomes for students entering technology roles to evaluate program effectiveness and guide continuous improvement.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, and 6 months of software engineering experience. Experience must include 3 months of experience advising students on career development using platforms such as 12Twenty, Handshake, LinkedIn, and ONET Online; 3 months of experience managing student progress tracking through Microsoft Teams, Zoom, JIRA, and Confluence; 3 months of experience executing staffing and placement procedures by leveraging JobScan, WriteSea, InStage, Microsoft Bookings, and Calendly. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the United States. Experience may be gained pre-, post- or during degree program.

Rate of Pay: $41,683.00 – $62,400.00 annually
