***Position can be located anywhere in the continental US with nearby access to a major airport, or in any major capital in LATAM.***

   

Remote-based sales management using technical skills and experience with bioaugmentation in water and wastewater treatment to secure new accounts and grow business within existing key accounts.

Requirements
  • Responsible for growth and maintenance of existing and new accounts for the WET group
  • Responsible for pre-qualifying sales leads from advertisement, trade shows, and on-line research tools, then performing the appropriate follow up
  • Works closely with Customer Service to respond to inquiries and provide technical guidance
  • Ability to technically troubleshoot environmental system issues and make product recommendations for existing and potential customers
  • Responsible for maintaining CRM as it relates to contact information and call history for reporting and tracking of customer contact.
  • Responsible for maintaining and documenting a robust and accurate sales pipeline
  • Customer care and new customer orientation 
  • Manages and mediates production/logistics/distribution issues
  • Works collaboratively with team members on the custom fermentation side of the business
  • Stays current with internal systems, processes, products, promotions and competitive trends
  • Overnight travel estimated at 40-50%

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or other related technical disciplines
  • 10 years’ experience in a sales or sales support capacity within the water or wastewater treatment field and/or related environmental industries

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent technical acumen
  • Fully computer literate
  • MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Bilingual skills, fluent in English and Spanish is a must. Proficient in Portuguese is a plus.  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Computer and phone work for extended periods of time.
  • Able to lift 30 lbs.
  • Regular air travel
