This role focuses on providing individualized outpatient therapy services to adult patients, emphasizing mobility, independence, and quality of life. You’ll work with residents in an independent and assisted living setting, partnering closely with patients and caregivers to support meaningful, functional outcomes.


Are you passionate about enhancing lives? We are seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team!


As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to assist with the delivery of physical therapy treatment interventions and services directly and indirectly, as outlined by an established treatment plan and in accordance with state practice guidelines. This position provides patient care to primarily adult and geriatric patients.


· Treat adult populations in independent and assisted living environments. 

· Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and ongoing wellness.

· Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

· Provide skilled therapy services focused on functional outcomes

· Treat adult and geriatric populations in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings

· Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and facility staff

· Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.


License and Certification:

  • Current valid Physical Therapist Assistant license to practice in appropriate state.
