SUMMARY
The Senior Vice President, Facilities and Real Estate serves as a senior operational leader responsible for overseeing ADAPT Community Network and its affiliates’ facilities operations, infrastructure planning, capital projects, and real estate portfolio across a complex multi-site environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s physical environments, operational infrastructure, and property assets effectively support high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and long-term organizational growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key duties and responsibilities of the Senior Vice President, Facilities and Real Estate include but are not limited to:
- Provide executive leadership and oversight for facilities operations and real estate functions across all organizational locations.
- Provide direct and indirect supervision of facilities department leadership and its teams across Community Network and its affiliates.
- Develop and implement long-range facilities and infrastructure strategies aligned with the priorities and growth initiatives for ADAPT Community Network and its affiliates.
- Oversee maintenance, engineering, environmental services, physical plant operations, and building systems management.
- Lead organizational planning related to renovations, capital improvements, relocations, expansions, consolidations, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Oversee the organization’s real estate portfolio, including lease administration, site evaluation, property utilization, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Partner with executive leadership on capital planning, infrastructure investments, and long-term facilities forecasting.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Compliance, Program Operations, and other departments regarding leases, contracts, construction projects, regulatory requirements, and operational planning.
- Oversee vendor management and service contracts related to facilities, maintenance, construction, engineering, security, and property operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, environmental, accessibility, licensing, and operational standards.
- Support organizational emergency preparedness, risk mitigation, business continuity, and life safety initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, infrastructure effectiveness, sustainability, and cost management across facilities operations.
- Lead and support construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects from planning through implementation.
- Evaluate and recommend strategic real estate opportunities that support organizational sustainability and future growth.
- Ensure facilities and physical environments appropriately support participant experience, employee operations, accessibility needs, and program effectiveness.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to facilities and related operational staff.
- Serve as a key operational advisor to the executive leadership team on facilities, infrastructure, and real estate matters.
- Participate in organizational strategic planning and cross-functional leadership initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Real Estate, Construction Management, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in facilities operations, infrastructure management, real estate, capital planning, construction, or related functions.
- Experience overseeing complex multi-site operations required.
- Experience within healthcare, nonprofit, higher education, government, or human services environments strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of supportive housing development processes and regulations preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading capital projects, infrastructure initiatives, and operational improvement efforts.
- Strong understanding of facilities operations, lease administration, vendor management, construction oversight, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong financial and operational planning skills, including capital forecasting and budget management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and organizational planning capabilities.

COMPENSATION: $225,000 - $250,000 Annually + Industry-Leading Benefits!
