PRN Speech Language Pathologist
Description
  • Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, swallowing disorders and assisting with cognitive decline prevention services.
  • Communicating with the patient, their family members, and physicians to design effective treatment plans.
  • Educating patients and their families on speech disorders and available therapies.
  • Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required.
  • Attending patient focused meetings and other team meetings as needed.
  • Provide efficient services within compliance guidelines
  • Perform timely and supportive documentation
  • Collaborate with Team Members on cases
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards



Requirements
  • Master's degree in speech therapy or speech-language pathology.
  • Relevant license and certification.
  • Sound understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with long-term care setting
  • Full time day shift
