What we’re looking for

Adams Support Office directors are expected to provide strategic leadership that drives organizational success, setting a clear vision for their teams while upholding the high standards that define the Adams experience. For the IT Director, this means leading the organization's technology strategy and overseeing all IT functions, including infrastructure, POS and database systems, cybersecurity, and technical support. By partnering with senior leadership and collaborating across departments, this role ensures system reliability, drives operational efficiency, and supports the continued success and growth of Adams.


Your Day-to-Day

  • Oversee and manage all information technology functions, including infrastructure, POS systems, databases, cybersecurity, and technical support
  • Lead short- and long-term IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business goals
  • Develop and implement IT policies, systems, and initiatives that support efficiency, scalability, and organizational growth
  • Ensure compliance with data security standards, internal controls, and applicable regulations, maintaining secure and reliable systems
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic guidance on technology investments, system improvements, and digital initiatives
  • Monitor system performance, and technology trends, identifying opportunities to enhance operations and customer experience
  • Oversee security and monitoring systems, including cameras and refrigeration monitoring, to protect assets and ensure operational continuity
  • Lead and support internal and external audits related to IT systems, ensuring compliance and readiness
  • Lead, develop, and support the IT team to ensure strong performance and professional growth
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure quality, reliability, and value

What you bring to the Farm

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in information technology, with demonstrated leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, POS systems, database management, cybersecurity, and technical support operations
  • Experience overseeing IT operations and compliance with data security and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, enterprise systems, and IT platforms, including POS technologies
  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance requirements and experience securing payment card environments
  • Experience overseeing eCommerce platforms and ensuring seamless integration with in-store systems
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor and contract management, including negotiating agreements that support business needs
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and reliability
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills to align technology solutions with business objectives
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Working Conditions

  • Consistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for duration of shift
  • Occasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladder
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shift
  • Communicate with others to exchange information

$110,000 - $140,000 per year
