Job Summary:
The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing front desk operations, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and performing administrative tasks to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Respond to emails and customer inquiries promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
- Manage office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Process payments, invoices, or transactions (if applicable).
- Coordinate with other departments to support daily operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
- Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
