Phoenix Operations Group is seeking an experienced Recruiter to help identify, attract, and hire exceptional technical talent supporting mission-critical programs across the defense, intelligence, and scientific research sectors.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will partner directly with company leadership, directors, and technical staff to drive recruiting strategy and help shape the future growth of Phoenix.

What You’ll Do
- Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer acceptance
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand current and future hiring needs
- Develop sourcing strategies for cleared and uncleared technical positions
- Build and maintain pipelines of software engineers, cloud engineers, DevOps engineers, data engineers, systems engineers, and other technical professionals
- Conduct candidate screenings and initial interviews to assess professional and cultural fit
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams
- Develop and maintain relationships with passive candidates within the defense and intelligence communities
- Attend industry events, networking functions, job fairs, and technical meetups as needed
- Track recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring status updates to leadership
- Support recruiting efforts and strategic growth initiatives
- Maintain candidate records and recruiting workflows within applicant tracking system
- Assist with employer branding initiatives, social media recruiting, and recruiting marketing efforts
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting for technical positions within the federal government contracting, defense, intelligence, or technology sectors
- Proven success sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels
- Experience recruiting software engineers, cloud engineers, DevOps engineers, systems engineers, cybersecurity professionals, or related technical talent
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of candidate engagement
- Experience working directly with hiring managers and senior leadership
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Paylocity
- Experience recruiting candidates with Secret, TS, or TS/SCI clearances
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, software development, AI/ML, data engineering, or cybersecurity disciplines
- Experience working within a small or growing government contractor
- Knowledge of recruiting metrics, pipeline management, and workforce planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
