Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a OS&D Analyst based in Buffalo, NY; Londonderry, NH; or Chicago, IL.
The Lactalis USA (LUSA) Supply Chain Operational Excellence team embraces problem-solving and leadership as the keys to continuous improvement, driving overall business transformation.
This OS&D Analyst is part of the US shared services team focused on Overages, Shortages, Damages, Returns (OSDR) and Penalties. Responsible for transactions related to clearing, claiming and reducing customer penalties, chargebacks, and OSDR issues across all Lactalis business units. Your work ensures increased compliance with retailer requirements, drives root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions to improve order accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. You will engage in claims processes in collaboration with Transportation & Warehouse teams. This position will report to an Associate Manager, OS&D as part of the US Supply Chain Operational Excellence team.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Review OS&D (overage, shortage, damage) incidents and customer compliance charges, log accurately in trackers following business unit specific workflows
- Serve as supply chain point of contact with warehouse & transportation teams to acquire proof of delivery as needed
- Review and analyze customers deductions related to Supply Chain/Logistics requirements, provide documentation to finance team and sales for invalid deductions
- Investigate and use informed reasoning to determine root causes of incidents, collaborating with team members across the organization to ensure relevant teams have provided input on analyses and drive action plans to improve
- Provide reporting on a regular basis to internal teams, highlighting trends and topics for focused improvement
- Gather proper documentation for and ensure claims are filed with carriers and 3PLs losses related to warehouse and transportation driven OSDR, compliance claims, and finished goods losses.
- Participate in recurring meetings with internal supply chain teams and external partners to drive improvements and support claims and recovery processes
- Provide general support for the US Supply Chain Operational Excellence team
From your STORY to ours
Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
- BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years in supply chain or other relevant roles – (i.e. Early-career candidates may be considered with clearly articulated applicable experience)
- Intermediate and above skill level with Excel. SAP or other ERP/relational database experience is a plus
- Proficient with standard office computer technology such as Microsoft Office products and the Internet
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- High level of initiative, excellent written & oral communication skills; good presentation skills
- Strong planning, prioritization, and task execution skills
- Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
- Ability to take direction and work both independently and in a team environment
