HVAC/Refrigeration Technician

Beck Suppliers/FriendShip Stores is looking for an experienced HVAC - Refrigeration Technician to support our convenience store locations throughout Ohio. In this role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the equipment our stores rely on every day, including HVAC systems, walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, beverage equipment, and other facility systems.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on store and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine effective repair solutions.
• Support general facility maintenance needs, including electrical, plumbing, lighting, and store equipment repairs.
• Work directly with store teams and vendors to keep locations operating safely and efficiently.
• Travel to FriendShip locations throughout Ohio and participate in an on-call rotation.

 What We're Looking For

• EPA Type II or Universal Certification.
• Minimum five years of commercial HVAC/Refrigeration troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair experience.
• Minimum three years of general maintenance experience, including building systems, electrical, plumbing, and equipment repair.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
