The Brand Engagement Specialist is responsible for bringing the Credit Union's brand to life through compelling storytelling, social media engagement, and community involvement. This role develops and executes creative content strategies that reflect the organization's values, deepen member connections, and strengthen brand awareness. By managing social media channels, capturing authentic stories, and supporting community events and partnerships, the Brand Engagement Specialist plays a key role in building meaningful relationships and delivering a consistent, engaging brand experience across digital and in-person touchpoints.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies that reflect the Credit Union’s brand, voice, and community values.
- Create engaging multimedia content (posts, reels, stories, captions) that drives emotional connection and member engagement.
- Manage daily social media activity, including publishing, monitoring, and responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Capture and share authentic brand stories, including member experiences, community involvement, and internal culture.
- Track and analyze performance metrics to optimize content, improve engagement, and expand reach.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and develop compelling content and storytelling opportunities.
- Plan, coordinate, and support community events and brand activations aligned with organizational goals.
- Support teams across the organization to ensure ideas align with brand strategy and standards.
- Represent the Credit Union at events and partnerships; capture and promote event content across digital channels.
- Coordinate and execute event set-up and teardown, including transporting, assembling, staging, dismantling, and inventorying branded materials and equipment to ensure seamless operations and a polished brand presence.

Salary
Starting pay: $24.69 – $30.86 hourly, based on qualifications, internal equity, and budget.

Experience:
One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education:
(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Physical Requirements:
Requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer, as well as stand, walk, and move for prolonged periods during events and community activities. Must be able to lift and carry materials such as event supplies, signage, or equipment, typically up to 25 pounds. This role also requires sufficient visual and auditory acuity to create digital content and effectively engage with others, along with the ability to operate standard office equipment and basic photo and video recording tools.
Work Environment:
This role is primarily based in a professional office setting, with a blend of in-office responsibilities and community-based work. It involves frequent use of computers, mobile devices, and social media platforms, often requiring extended screen time. The position requires regular interaction with internal teams, members, and community partners, as well as active participation in community events, outreach efforts, and brand activations. Occasional evening and weekend work, along with local travel, may be required to support events and initiatives. Work may take place in both indoor and outdoor environments, depending on event needs and community engagement activities.
