We're seeking an experienced Senior Paragon Revenue Cycle Consultant to support a major hospital revenue recovery and operational stabilization initiative. This high-impact consulting engagement focuses on restoring revenue cycle operations following significant claims processing disruptions.
Position Summary
As a subject matter expert, you'll assess Paragon revenue cycle workflows, identify operational breakdowns, support claim reconstruction efforts, and recommend improvements that restore billing operations and strengthen long-term financial performance.
Working alongside hospital leadership, technical teams, and revenue cycle professionals, you'll play a critical role in helping the organization recover lost revenue and optimize its revenue cycle processes.
Responsibilities
- Assess end-to-end Paragon revenue cycle workflows.
- Analyze patient accounting, charge capture, billing, and claims processing.
- Identify root causes impacting reimbursement.
- Support claim reconstruction and financial data validation.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and cross-functional consulting teams.
- Document current-state processes and recommend operational improvements.
- Present findings and support executive-level deliverables.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of hospital revenue cycle experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Paragon Revenue Cycle/Patient Accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Hospital billing operations
- Charge capture
- Patient accounting
- Claims generation
- Revenue Integrity
- Reimbursement workflows
- Excellent communication and consulting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Paragon implementation or optimization experience.
- Healthcare consulting experience.
- SQL reporting or healthcare analytics knowledge.
- CDM (Charge Description Master) experience.
- Familiarity with 837I institutional claims and clearinghouse workflows.
- RHIA, HFMA, CHFP, or similar certifications preferred.
