Expereienced Automotive Sales Manager
Job Type
Full-time
Description

KUNES MITSUBISHI OF MADISON is hiring an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead our new and used vehicle sales team. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent customer relationship skills, and thrive as a true operator — leading a team, managing inventory, and driving the customer experience, not just structuring deals — we want to hear from you.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing sales staff, inventory, and the customer buying experience —with real earning potential  - $140,000+ Salary Plus Commissions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the Sales Team – Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to consistently meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Set the Strategy – Establish clear, achievable sales targets and drive the team's performance toward dealership objectives.
  • Manage Inventory – Oversee new and used vehicle inventory, ensuring the showroom and lot are well-stocked, organized, and sale-ready.
  • Oversee Demo & Test-Drive Vehicles – Ensure demo vehicles are properly maintained and always available for customer test drives.
  • Review & Approve Deals – Evaluate and approve sales deals to ensure profitability and fairness for both the dealership and the customer.
  • Own the Customer Experience – Manage customer relationships from first contact through delivery, resolving concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Train Your Team – Run regular sales meetings and training sessions to keep staff up to date on products, promotions, and industry best practices.
  • Drive Marketing Efforts – Support advertising campaigns and promotions to increase showroom traffic and sales volume.
