Position Summary
The Director of Admissions serves as Marian Central Catholic High School's strategic leader responsible for student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment. Reporting directly to the Head of School, the Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating enrollment strategies that attract, enroll, and retain mission-fit students while providing an exceptional admissions experience for prospective families.
As Marian Central Catholic's primary ambassador to prospective students and families, the Director cultivates relationships with partner schools, parishes, community organizations, and other key stakeholders to advance the school's mission and enrollment goals. The Director collaborates closely with school leadership to ensure enrollment decisions, recruitment initiatives, and family engagement reflect Marian's mission of Forming Men and Women for Life.
Essential Responsibilities
Strategic Enrollment Leadership
· Lead the implementation, ongoing evaluation, and continuous refinement of Marian's Strategic Enrollment Plan.
· Establish annual enrollment, retention, and yield goals in collaboration with the Head of School.
· Monitor and report on enrollment trends, demographic data, and market conditions to inform strategic decision-making and enrollment planning.
Recruitment & Admissions
· Lead and oversee the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment.
· Ensure timely, personalized communication with prospective students and families.
· Plan, coordinate, and oversee admissions initiatives including Open House, VIP Days, HSPT, Accepted Student Programs, transfer admissions, school visits, and other recruitment activities.
· Serve on the Admissions Committee and participate in admissions decisions.
· Oversee admissions policies, procedures, and evaluation processes to ensure consistency, professionalism, and integrity.
Prospective Family Experience
· Serve as Marian's primary ambassador for prospective students and families.
· Deliver an exceptional admissions experience that reflects Marian's Catholic mission, values, and commitment to hospitality.
· Guide families through the admissions process, including academics, student life, tuition, tuition assistance, scholarships, and enrollment.
Enrollment Operations & Data
· Oversee the administration and optimization of the AdmissionsPlus platform.
· Maintain accurate admissions records, enrollment data, and reporting.
· Monitor key enrollment metrics, including inquiry conversion, application completion, enrollment yield, and retention.
· Prepare regular enrollment reports, forecasts, and analyses for the Head of School and school leadership.
· Ensure confidentiality and integrity of student records.
Partnerships & Community Engagement
· Develop and strengthen relationships with Marian's partner schools, pastors, principals, counselors, parish leaders, alumni, and community organizations.
· Recruit, supervise, and support Student Ambassadors and Parent Ambassadors to ensure meaningful engagement with prospective students and families.
Marketing & Enrollment Collaboration
· Partner with the Director of Communications to develop and implement enrollment marketing strategies, including recruitment messaging, publications, website content, digital marketing, photography, videography, and social media initiatives.
Tuition Assistance & Scholarship
· Serve on the Tuition Assistance and Scholarship Committee.
· Participate in the review of tuition assistance and scholarship applications and contribute to award recommendations.
· Counsel families regarding tuition, payment options, tuition assistance, and scholarship opportunities.
Institutional Leadership
· Serve as a collaborative member of Marian's leadership team.
· Foster collaborative relationships across departments in support of Marian's enrollment goals.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of School.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree required.
· Three to five years of experience in admissions, educational leadership, marketing, advancement, or related fields preferred.
· Strong communication, analytical, organizational, relationship-building, and project management skills.
· Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Marian Central Catholic High School.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
· Outstanding interpersonal, written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and project management abilities.
· Ability to analyze enrollment data and make informed recommendations.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt, year-round position. Evening and weekend responsibilities are required to support admissions events, recruitment activities, and school functions. Occasional local travel is required.
