Customer Service & Print Production Associate
Description

The Customer Service/Print Production Associate is responsible for day-to-day functions of the branch. This includes, but is not limited to customer interface, billing, maintaining retail showroom, printing and binding construction documents/specs, shipping and receiving packages.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet customers that come in the store and take care of their needs with upbeat attitude
  • Answer phone and emails in a courteous, timely manner
  • Use the computer to print and scan large and small format construction documents, finishing as needed, with specific customer instructions and details.
  • Output of small color graphic renderings, posters, prints and mounts
  • Bill completed jobs in the ERP system (P21); notify customers when their work is ready for pickup
  • Restock production area and showroom as needed.
  • Maintain a clean environment for customers and employees
  • Perform monthly inventory counts
  • Assist with Shipping and Receiving department duties
  • Large/ small format laminating
  • Monitor email for incoming orders, uploads, and company information
  • Scan, rename, and email files
  • Print, bind, and assemble spec books
  • Monitor department supplies and notifies management when orders are needed
  • Prepare bid room posts, addenda, and related construction technology materials
  • Maintain the online bid room and ensure files are accurate and accessible
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • Travel to other local branches to cover 2-5 times a month as needed

  • Computer skills including Office 365 and ERP systems
  • Must have a positive and helpful attitude
  • Willingness to learn and attention to detail
  • Independent worker with ability to be resourceful
  • Working intentionally without guidance after training
  • Prospecting new customers for business
  • Must be dependable and arrive at work on time
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.


Education & Experience

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in print production a plus
  • Basic understanding of construction documents and processes is a plus
