Description

Full-time and part-time positions available!


Purpose: Collaborate with client and family to identify goals and potential solutions to problems which cause emotional turmoil with SUD or co-occurring diagnosis. Counselors seek to; improve communication and coping skills; strengthen self-esteem; promote behavior change; and provide accurate documentation of efforts.  


Qualifications:

  • Must be one of the following: licensed psychologist, licensed psychologist extender, licensed MSW, licensed LCSW, licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, licensed Professional Counselor, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
  • OR Certified Alcohol/Drug Counselor
  • OR Advanced Certified Alcohol/Drug Counselor
  • OR Northwest Indian Alcohol/Drug Specialist Certification
  • OR Master Addictions Counselor (MAC)
  • OR be grandfathered in according to IDAPA 201

Location: Idaho Falls office, Rigby office, Rexburg office, client home (as assigned or agreed upon at time of hire)

Requirements

Job functions, responsibilities and authority:

  • Working from a client’s Individualized Treatment Plan, counsel individuals, couples, and families as assigned using evidence-based treatment techniques.
  • Complete Comprehensive Diagnoses for clients.
  • Along with client and/or parent/guardian, determine objectives and tasks for clients; develop Psychotherapy treatment plan.
  • Along with client and/or parent/guardian, determine objectives and tasks for clients; develop Pharmaceutical Management plan.    
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings. 
  • Document and submit all clinical progress notes by the following Sunday night at 11:59 PM. 
  • Review counseling clients’ psychotherapy plan every 90, 180, & 270 days.
  • Perform annual renewals for assigned clients and submit applicable documentation within the appropriate timeframe. 
  • Comply with any Insurance Carrier requirements to treat. 
  • Communicate pertinent treatment information to client, family, multidisciplinary team, and supervisor(s).  
  • Report abuse as needed (see Tueller Counseling Services Policy and Procedure #320)
  • Maintain all required documentation for employee file including a current enhanced background check and licensure. 


Salary Description
$50,000-$80,000/year
