PURPOSE OF POSITION:

A Warehouse Delivery Driver at Catholic Charities: 

• Coordinates dispatch of truck and delivers good to designated location safely, timely and within all food service and organization safety standards.
• Creates bales of textiles for re-sale.
• Moves textile bales to/from warehouses in preparation for re-sale.
• Loads and unloads food and/or goods at designated sites. Ensures all products are stored properly at the sites as well as maintaining the proper paperwork.
• Maintains required logs and receipts accurately and timely at the facility where food and good are needed.
• Reports to the Warehouse supervisor for additional daily tasks in the warehouse.
• Promotes and adheres to Catholic Charities’ vision, mission, values and Code of Ethics.
• Models Catholic Charities’ commitment to treating all persons with respect and dignity, with Trauma-Informed language and behavior.
• Reflects Catholic Charities commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect.
• Maintains confidentiality of client and agency information.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Any other tasks or duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive delivery truck and box truck.
• Must be able to drive a fork lift and obtain certification required by OSHA.
• Must be able to pass a physical before employment.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to quickly shift priorities as needed.
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate staff through application of Agency values
• Intermediate knowledge of computers to input information, maintain client and program data, create and generate reports, and create communications.
• Knowledge of the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
• Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary: $20.00 per hour.
