Process Engineer
Reno, NV Manufacturing Engineering
Job Type
Full-time
Description

As a Process Engineer at SendCutSend, you are the sole owner of one or more manufacturing processes end-to-end. You define the scope of work, set pricing structures, and drive expansion of your processes across facilities. This is not a support role — you own the outcome.

You will lead process development from initial concept through production-scale deployment, building the systems, documentation, tooling, and workflows that allow your process to scale reliably. You partner with operations, sales, and product to ensure your process is priced correctly, positioned competitively, and ready to grow.

Why SendCutSend?

SendCutSend is an on-demand manufacturing company specializing in custom sheet metal and CNC machining. We serve more than 150,000 engineers, fabricators, and businesses across the U.S. and Canada. We operate out of six facilities located in Nevada, Kentucky, and Texas.

Our business is built on reliability, accountability, quality, and constant improvement. Everyone here plays a real role in our success. We value people who are collaborative, innovative, and committed to detailed high-quality work. We’re scaling fast and building the future of manufacturing. If you’re excited to join the team and grow with us, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do

  • Own one or more manufacturing processes completely — from defining scope or work, standard processes and capabilities through pricing, quoting strategy, and multi-site expansion.
  • Define and document the full scope of your process: equipment, materials, tolerances, throughput targets, and capability limits.
  • Develop and own the pricing model for your process, collaborating with operations and sales to ensure it reflects true cost, competitive position, and margin targets.
  • Lead process development from proof-of-concept through production validation and full-scale deployment.
  • Build the SOPs, tooling, fixtures, workflows, and training materials that allow your process to be replicated across facilities.
  • Analyze process performance data to identify constraints, improve throughput, reduce cost, and increase quality.
  • Drive expansion of your process to new facilities, equipment, or materials — managing the rollout from planning through go-live.
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert and primary point of contact for your process across production, engineering, support, and customer experience teams.
  • Identify and eliminate failure modes, root causes, and systemic inefficiencies in your process.
  • Stay ahead of industry developments in your process domain and bring new capabilities to SendCutSend before competitors do.
  • Collaborate with product and sales to quote complex or non-standard jobs and define what is and isn’t within the capability of your process.
