Description

The Campus Safety Associate plays a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors on campus. Responds to evening and overnight concerns, while knowing College resources and who to delegate the concerns for a timely and appropriate response. 

  • Lock and unlock campus buildings according to set schedule and events schedule.
  • Respond to emergency situations routed through the information center and forward messages to the appropriate individual.
  • Respond to fire and other mechanical alarms.
  • Basic facilities knowledge of plumbing and electrical safety.
  • Performs routine and preventative maintenance. 
  • Assist with parking enforcement and reserved parking.
  • Have thorough understanding and knowledge of campus resources. 
  • Maintain an appropriate level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Ability to work with students, faculty and staff representing diverse backgrounds and interests.
