Position Summary

The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of projects by organizing schedules, tracking progress, and coordinating communication among stakeholders. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are completed on schedule
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, records, and files
  • Communicate updates, risks, and issues to project stakeholders
  • Schedule and organize meetings, including preparing agendas and recording minutes
  • Track project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation
  • Identify potential risks and support mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
  • Support project managers with administrative and operational tasks
Requirements

  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2 years min. 6 years max of experience in project coordination or administrative support in a construction setting
  • 2 years min. 6 years max of experience in commercial or industrial construction, engineering and design processes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello,      Jira)
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Project Management certification (CAPM or PMP) is a plus
