The Health and Exercise Science department at Westminster College seeks a well-qualified part-time instructor for teaching undergraduate courses for the Fall 2026 semester. The successful candidate may teach one or more of the following: Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries (3-credit hours); First Aid and CPR (1-credit hour). Additional courses may be available for the Spring semester.
All regular semester courses are taught in-person on campus. The Health and Exercise Science department also provides training and mentoring for our instructors. Instructors are part-time, non-benefit eligible, teaching positions filled semester-by-semester as needed.
Job Requirements:
Education: At minimum an earned Master's degree in Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or related-field.
Experience: The ideal candidate has teaching experience in higher education and takes a personal interest in student success.
Compensation: Compensation for teaching a course is $1,000/ credit-hour.
