The Farm & Retail Donations Specialist develops and cultivates food donation partnerships in the Delta region, focusing on local farmers and retail partners. This role also supports daily operations at the Delta location, including receiving product and coordinating logistics, while serving as a key Arkansas Foodbank representative in the community.

The Farm & Retail Donations Specialist will be comfortable learning new technology, as well as an eagerness to utilize Arkansas Foodbank software systems. They will possess strong interpersonal skills, a spirit of collaboration and teamwork, and a commitment to hunger relief.
· Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers, retail stores, and other donors
· Identify opportunities to increase donation volume and frequency
· Coordinate farm and retail donations, including scheduling and logistics
· Receive and document incoming shipments at the Delta location
· Assist with daily operations and coordinator with Warehouse and Transportation teams
· Conduct or assist with local donation pickups
· Track donation activity and maintain donor records
· Represent the Foodbank at community events and donor visits
· Collaborate with internal teams and attend required meetings
· Perform other duties as assigned
· Ability to travel within the Delta region
· Occasional evening or weekends as needed
Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred for the candidate or employee, however, other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of management.
· Associate degree, preferably in Business or a related field AND two years of experience in purchasing, or food sourcing, donor relations, purchasing, retail operations, supply chain, or related field, required; Bachelor preferred..
- Skilled in the use of computer operations and software, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Valid Arkansas driver’s license and proof of insurance required
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a preemployment drug screening
