Assistant Athletic Trainer
Description

Hyde Park Schools is seeking a Board Certified and Texas Licensed Assistant Athletic Trainer to join our Christ-centered Athletics Department. Working alongside the Head Athletic Trainer, this full-time position plays a vital role in protecting the health, safety, and performance of our student-athletes through injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, emergency care, and return-to-play planning. The Assistant Athletic Trainer collaborates closely with coaches, physicians, parents, and school administrators to provide exceptional care while maintaining accurate medical records and supporting compliance with TAPPS regulations.

Requirements


  • Board Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC)
  • Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Texas
  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and managing medical records
  • Knowledge of TAPPS rules and regulations
  • Demonstrated understanding of the medical needs, expectations, and care of student-athletes
