LOCATION AND WORK:
Remote employees may be considered; however, preference is given to those who can work in the Cleveland, Ohio, Emerald Isle, North Carolina, or Charlotte, North Carolina office. Work from office policy is in effect three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday).
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Level I Senior BI Developer, you'll be trusted to work independently, mentor junior developers, and take technical ownership of projects. Your work will combine technical excellence with a strong understanding of business processes, particularly in Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead technical implementation of BI solutions including data models, reports, and dashboards.
- Design and develop in Microsoft BI stack: SQL Server, Power BI, Azure Data Factory.
- Participate in client discovery and requirements sessions to ensure aligned solutions.
- Deliver solutions on time and on budget by adhering to project milestones and standards.
- Serve as technical lead on projects, mentoring developers and setting coding best practices.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft BI innovations and bring best practices into projects.
- Support client onboarding and solution training sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
- 4–5 years’ experience with Microsoft BI technologies:
- SQL Server (T-SQL, schema design)
- Azure Data Factory (data pipelines, transformations)
- Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development)
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain business processes (Finance, Sales, Manufacturing a plus)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and lead small development teams
- Demonstrated experience mentoring peers or leading design/technical sessions
- Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
