Duration: Academic Term

Availability: Two positions available; up to 5 flexible hours per week per student.

Position Summary

The Instagram Assistant supports the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism Program by managing the @icp_docit Instagram account and helping foster engagement among students, alumni, faculty, and the broader ICP community.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Create and schedule social media content
Conduct outreach to students and alumni for submissions
Coordinate image permissions and usage approvals
Collaborate with ICP's Marketing team on social media initiatives
Attend occasional program-related events
Track and report weekly work-study hours

Ideal Qualifications

Experience using Instagram for professional, creative, or organizational purposes
Strong written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and encourage peers to contribute content
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational and time-management skills

Eligibility

Only currently enrolled One-Year Certificate (OYC) students are eligible to apply. All applicants will be reviewed by the OYC Program Coordinator to confirm enrollment and eligibility.
