Availability: Two positions available; up to 5 flexible hours per week per student.
Position Summary
The Instagram Assistant supports the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism Program by managing the @icp_docit Instagram account and helping foster engagement among students, alumni, faculty, and the broader ICP community.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule social media content
- Conduct outreach to students and alumni for submissions
- Coordinate image permissions and usage approvals
- Collaborate with ICP's Marketing team on social media initiatives
- Attend occasional program-related events
- Track and report weekly work-study hours
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience using Instagram for professional, creative, or organizational purposes
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and encourage peers to contribute content
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Eligibility
Only currently enrolled One-Year Certificate (OYC) students are eligible to apply. All applicants will be reviewed by the OYC Program Coordinator to confirm enrollment and eligibility.
