Athena Medical Management, LLC, is a growing women’s healthcare organization with 19+ locations supporting over 160 team members. We’re building a strong, structured HR team that enables our managers to lead well and our employees to do their best work.
We are adding a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist (HR Recruiter) to join our HR team. This is a newly restructured role reporting directly to the HR Director and partnering closely with our HR Generalist. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love to create efficiencies, and take pride in operational excellence, this is the opportunity for you.
The Opportunity
This is NOT a catch-all HR role. This is a focused recruiting role for someone who loves the hunt, loves the close, and thrives on filling clinical roles that directly impact patient care.
You will own full-cycle recruiting from requisition to offer acceptance, while our HR Generalist owns payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations. Clear lanes. No gray area.
If you are a recruiter who is energized by sourcing hard-to-find clinical talent and want to be part of a team where HR is valued as a strategic partner, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for clinical and non-clinical roles: Rad Techs, Sonographers, Mammographers, Medical Billers, Front Office, Schedulers, and Provider Liaisons
- Source active and passive candidates via Paylocity ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, and community partnerships
- Travel to sites for career fairs, hiring events, hiring manager meetings, and new hire check-ins as needed
- Partner with hiring managers to write compelling job descriptions and define success profiles
- Present qualified, screened slates within 5 business days of approved req
- Manage candidate experience end-to-end: screening, interview coordination, feedback, offer extension
- Initiate pre-employment: background checks, references, license verification, and OIG clearance
- Maintain impeccable ATS hygiene – disposition candidates within 48 hours and keep EEO/OFCCP data audit-ready
- Track and report KPIs: time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate
- Support employer branding: career fairs, university relations, career site content
What You Won’t Do
This role does NOT handle payroll, benefits questions, employee relations, LOA, or policy issues. Those live with our HR Generalist. You get to focus on what you do best: hiring great people.
