CPEG Buffalo LLC is seeking a full time, on site Electrician. This role is responsible for various electrical installations as required to manufacture products to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. This position will be located at our Tonawanda shop located at 2000 Military Road, Tonawanda NY 14150. 


Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm


Job Duties: 

  • Performs duties and responsibilities in compliance with CPEG ‘s Process Map for Production; 
  • Interprets and reads schematic wiring drawings
  • Run Rigid conduit; bend and thread using hand and power tools;
  • Pull and Terminate wire;
  • Build Junction boxes to print;
  • Basic mechanical skills;
  • Safety and housekeeping
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent required;
  • Vocational or Technical training in related area preferred; 
  • One year experience in Rigid Conduit / Cable Tray & Glands preferred.
  • 2-5 Years in an Industrial work environment preferred.

  • Able to make simple electrical connections;
  • Able to calculate proper dimensions for conduit bending;
  • Familiar with GreenLee one shot table top bender;
  • Able to read and understand electrical schematics;
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills;
  • Able to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions;
  • Basic Assembly Skills;
  • Basic Mechanical Skills;
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Able to understand proper handling of all paperwork required in department reporting;
  • Basic math including, but not limited to, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals; 
  • Basic measuring devices and basic scales of measurement including but not limited to, tape measures, rulers, thermometers and machinist scales;
  • Understands and able to utilize mathematical formulas required to perform job;
  • Able to use a level and tape measures;
  • Knowledge of general manufacturing safety rules; proper use and handling of job related safety equipment;
  • Able to safely operate forklift and overhead crane;
  • Able to obtain required material and fittings dictated by BOM;
  • Able to determine special requirements (slope, expansion loops and designated walkways) from drawing;
  • Demonstrates the safe operation of manual and power tools;
  • Basic computer skills;

Salary Description
$28/hr - $35/hr
