Outdoor Network is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department across multiple business units within a growing, multi-location organization.
This position provides administrative and operational support across a variety of Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee records, compliance, benefits administration, payroll support, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-service focused, and eager to grow within the Human Resources profession.
Please Note: We are currently only considering candidates who reside in the Tampa Bay area or are able to commute daily to our Tampa office. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting for hourly, salaried, and management positions.
- Post job openings, review applications, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, employment verification, and onboarding documentation.
- Prepare new hire paperwork and facilitate new hire orientation.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruiting records.
Human Resources Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data.
- Process new hires, employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and separations.
- Assist with employment verifications, unemployment claims, and other HR documentation.
- Support HR reporting, audits, and workforce metrics.
- Ensure HR documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Employee Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees regarding Human Resources policies, procedures, benefits, and general questions.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment, Open Enrollment, and payroll-related inquiries.
- Support leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation documentation.
- Escalate complex employee relations matters to Human Resources leadership as appropriate.
HR Operations
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Assist with HR projects focused on process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Partner with managers and employees to provide outstanding internal customer service.
- Perform other Human Resources duties and special projects as assigned.
Required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent Human Resources experience.
- 1–3 years of Human Resources, recruiting, payroll, or administrative experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (Paylocity preferred).
- Experience supporting recruiting and onboarding.
- SHRM-CP certification or interest in obtaining HR certification.
- Experience supporting multiple business locations.
