Position Description
We are seeking a versatile HR Operations Specialist to report directly to our HR Manager and support the daily operations of our Human Resources team. In this hybrid role, you will be supporting everything from payroll administration, to onboarding and policy development, talent coordination, and HRIS maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Payroll, Benefits, & Compensation Administration
- End-to-End Payroll Management: Lead full-cycle payroll processing with high accuracy and compliance, ensuring timekeeping data, deductions, tax withholdings, and pay adjustments are seamlessly integrated and executed.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee day-to-day benefits operations, including open enrollment, provider reporting, employee claims resolution, and benefit program communications (health, dental, 401k/retirement, etc.).
- Compensation & Performance Processing: Partner with leadership to manage performance review workflows and accurately process all approved merit increases, bonuses, and compensation adjustments through the payroll system.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Recruiting Coordination: Support talent leadership with scheduling, manage candidate logistics, interviews, and onboarding.
- Offer Administration: Draft and issue official internal documentation, including offer letters and candidate packages.
- Seamless Onboarding: Coordinate and execute the full onboarding process—managing documentation, orientation schedules, and trainings on company policies to ensure an exceptional candidate-to-employee experience.
HR Operations & Policy Development
- Policy & Framework Design: Partner with HR leadership to create, document, and roll out updated HR policies, frameworks, and standardized document templates.
- Compliance & Audit: Monitor and evaluate HR laws against current internal procedures to ensure ongoing legal compliance.
- HRIS Management: Maintain accurate employee data and records within the HRIS.
- Employee Support: Serve as a reliable point of contact for employee administrative inquiries, grievance resolution, and general operational support.
Culture & Engagement
- Employee Engagement: Develop, budget, and execute culture-building and employee engagement initiatives.
- Relations & Discipline: Assist leadership with addressing employee grievances and executing disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies and legal standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Payroll Administration: 3 years of hands-on experience processing payroll or as a payroll administrator.
- HR Experience: 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- Talent operations: 2 years of experience supporting Talent Operations (e.g., recruiting coordination, NHO, and onboarding).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS platforms, timekeeping software, and office productivity tools. Experience with Paylocity plus.
- Work Environment: Comfortable working onsite in our Concord office
