**This position is for 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)**

Summary

The Quality Technician inspects materials and products for conformance to specifications.

Functions

Job Specific Responsibilities

· Issue first piece inspection using standard measurement tools including CMM, calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gages, and profilometers.

· Inspect incoming, outgoing, and in-process material and or parts for non-conformities.

· Report inspection findings to the appropriate departments in a professional manner when applicable.

· Participate in Root Cause/5 Why and troubleshooting meetings as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a non-exempt full-time position (40 hours per week). Overtime may be required.

Eligibility Qualifications

· Read and interpret blueprints.

· Strong computer skills including Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 

· Experience using Calipers and Micrometers

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

· Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks

Work Environment

· Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, and temperature changes. PPE required
