Position Summary
American Refrigeration is seeking a motivated and mechanically minded Sales Engineering Associate to join our growing Sales Engineering team. Whether you have experience as an industrial refrigeration technician, project engineer, or mechanical engineer, this role provides an opportunity to build upon your technical knowledge while developing the skills needed to engineer and deliver complex industrial refrigeration projects.
As a Sales Engineering Associate, you will work directly alongside experienced Sales Engineers and Service Account Managers, receiving hands-on mentorship while learning every aspect of project development from customer site visits and estimating to equipment selection, proposal development, and construction planning.
No prior estimating or sales experience is required. We are looking for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a desire to continue learning. American Refrigeration will provide the technical training and mentorship needed to become a successful Sales Engineer. This position offers a defined career path toward becoming a Sales Engineer responsible for developing and managing multimillion-dollar industrial refrigeration projects.
Work Environment

Additional qualifications include:
· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
· Industrial refrigeration experience is highly desirable.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
· Ability to read or willingness to learn P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and equipment submittals.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
· Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, estimating software, or ERP systems is a plus.
· Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned territories.
