ACT is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the full lifecycle of our government and commercial contracts, from pre-award negotiations through closeout. This highly visible position will partner with Sales, executive leadership, customers, and internal teams to manage contractual risk, maintain compliance, and support ACT’s continued growth in the defense and aerospace markets.
What You Will Do
- Lead contract reviews, negotiations, modifications, and closeout activities
- Partner with Sales during the proposal and pre-award process
- Advise leadership on contractual requirements, risks, and business impacts
- Manage customer correspondence and resolve contractual issues
- Oversee FAR, DFARS, DPAS, ITAR, EAR, and government flow-down requirements
- Manage NDAs, subcontracts, customer certifications, and required deliverables
- Maintain compliant contract and government property systems
- Lead and develop assigned contracts staff
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- Experience managing U.S. government contracts
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DPAS, and export-control requirements
- Proven contract negotiation and risk-management skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments
