Golf Services Supervisor
Description

Nestled in the Texas Hill Country above Lake LBJ, Escondido Golf & Lake Club is one of Texas's most prestigious private clubs — home to a Tom Fazio-designed course ranked Top 10 in the state and a membership that expects a flawless experience from the moment they arrive to the final handshake after their round.

We're looking for a Golf Services Supervisor who leads by example — someone who takes pride in both the technical side of cart fleet management and the personal side of member service. You'll oversee the Golf Services team, own the maintenance and presentation of our cart operation, and ensure every touchpoint on and around the course reflects the Escondido standard of excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise, lead, and develop the Golf Services team daily
  • Maintain and repair golf carts; manage a preventive maintenance      schedule
  • Keep sufficient inventory of parts and tools to support a quality      cart program
  • Maintain the cart shop and adjacent areas in a clean, orderly      condition
  • Manage staging area — cart fleet, station amenities, and car      arrivals
  • Submit member service charges to the Golf Professional
  • Set up and oversee the 1st tee daily
  • Ensure golf carts are spotless, fully stocked, and ready for play
  • Manage the bag room — organized, clean, and ahead of player arrival
  • Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival and after their round
  • Assist Golf Professionals with starting member play
  • Complete opening and closing procedures for the cart barn and      practice facility
  • Deliver on-course service and communicate across departments daily
  • Operate practice facilities to standard

   What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay + benefits including health insurance,      401(k), and PTO
  • A leadership role at one of Texas's Top 10 golf courses
  • A caring, friendly, and supportive team culture where great work is      recognized
  • The resources and backing to run a well-organized, high-performing      operation
Requirements

   What We're Looking For

  • Prior supervisory experience in golf operations or hospitality
  • Hands-on experience with golf cart maintenance and repair
  • Strong leadership presence — calm, consistent, and team-focused
  • Genuine passion for golf and delivering a premium member experience
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and work actively on your feet outdoors
  • Comfortable in all weather conditions — this role lives outside
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and presentation
  • Available for weekends, holidays, and events
