The Host is responsible for ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all of our members and their guests from the moment they enter the dining area to when they depart. This position is responsible for greeting guests with a friendly, professional demeanor in a prompt manner. The Host must assess the flow of service and make judgment calls on when a table can be seated. The host may also be asked to answer the club phone and is expected to adhere to Woodhill standers of professionalism while on the phone with a member. Your primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional member experience and keep a high standard of member and guest satisfaction, service quality, appearance, and cleanliness of facilities. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential to the success of each team member, as well as the success of our operation.

Expected Hours of Work: Flexible scheduling - daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. We are looking for many types of availability, as we are extremely flexible.

Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Outgoing, friendly demeanor.
  • Must be able to read, write, and determine wait time based on Woodhill’s procedures.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to effectively balance multiple tasks.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base hourly earnings ($15-$17/hour DOE).
  • Uniform shirts provided.
  • Complimentary employee meals.
  • Use of Woodhill’s exceptional facilities (golf course, pool, tennis courts, and winter sports complex) on most Mondays.
