Key Responsibilities

  • · Leadership: experience managing teams. Candidate will need to have knowledge of Linux and Windows OS systems. Team members and projects are on both systems.
  • · Active Directory & Group Policy Management: Extensive experience with Active Directory architecture, DNS, and security, including the application of STIGs. Proven experience executing AD migrations. Ensure security and compliance by applying and managing DNS STIGs.
  • System & Application Management: Manage and secure Windows Server environments, including the configuration and      maintenance of Internet Information Services (IIS). Deploy patches, applications, and operating system updates using SCCM.
  • Infrastructure Projects: Lead and execute complex infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on Active Directory (AD)      migrations and consolidations.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop, test, and maintain robust PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks, streamline processes, and generate reports.
  • Troubleshooting: Act as a senior escalation point for complex system issues; apply solid and methodical troubleshooting skills      to resolve problems related to servers, services, and network connectivity.
  • Virtualization: Administer and optimize the server virtualization environment (VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V).
  • Security & Compliance: Proactively monitor systems, manage security configurations, and ensure adherence to internal      security policies and standards.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Oversee and validate backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business      continuity. 
  • Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth analysis and resolution of complex technical issues.
Requirements
  •  5-7+ years of experience in a senior Windows administration role.
  • Windows Server: Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
  • Group Policy: Deep understanding of creating, testing, and deploying complex GPOs.
  • SCCM: Proficiency in using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) for patch management, OS deployment, and      software distribution.
  • Scripting: Advanced PowerShell scripting abilities for automation and system management.
  • IIS: Strong experience in deploying and managing web applications on Internet Information Services (IIS).

Like to Have (Preferred):

  • Database Experience: Familiarity with database administration, specifically MS SQL or MongoDB.
  • Linux Knowledge: Basic administration skills in Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu) is beneficial but not required. 
Salary Description
$120-150K/yr
