Sigvaris is currently looking for a Key Account Manager, Oedema to join our Sales team in the U.S. As a leading compression solution provider, we are not just a company that manufactures products. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Key Account Manager, Oedema is responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic relationships with designated key customers to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment between customer needs and company solutions while identifying opportunities for business growth and long-term partnerships. This is a new growth role within Sigvaris to support a new business unit, so an entrepreneurial spirit is required!
Ideal candidate must reside in close proximity to a major airport.
You must be able to travel 30-50%, some overnight, depending on proximity to account locations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management & Relationship Building:
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
• Acts as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments, including marketing, customer service, operations, and finance.
• Conduct regular business reviews with customers to assess performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
• Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales & Business Development:
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Develop strategic account plans that support customer growth and company objectives.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and new product introductions.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial terms within company guidelines.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Strategic Planning:
• Analyze account performance, sales trends, and market data to develop actionable business plans.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create customized solutions for key accounts.
• Forecast sales and maintain accurate pipeline information in CRM systems.
• Participate in annual budgeting and strategic planning processes.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of customer initiatives.
• Communicate customer requirements and feedback to internal teams.
• Support product launches, promotional activities, and customer training initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver professional presentations and business proposals.
Reporting & Administration:
• Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and sales forecasts.
• Provide regular reports on account performance, opportunities, and risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
Follows established company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SIGVARIS policies, industry standards, ISO 13485 standards, and Federal, State and local laws.
Follows all work instructions, creates and maintains accurate records to meet all internal and external requirements to support the SIGVARIS Quality System and Quality Policy.
EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Must have a bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of sales or sales management experience.
• A minimum of two (2) years of key account experience selling at the national level.
• Experience selling and marketing medical products.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to approach issues, challenges and problems by using analytical thinking.
• Ability to collaborate with senior managers and move the company towards important new goals and objectives.
• Expertise in creation of presentations with financial analysis and PowerPoint presentations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• This job operates in-person in Peachtree City, GA or remote work environment.
• Minimum travel of 30%.
• Occasionally required to lift light items (less than 25 pounds).
