Job description:

Function: We are seeking a passionate, student-centered Special Education Teacher to serve learners ages 12–21. The ideal candidate is committed to providing high-quality, individualized instruction and creating a supportive learning environment where every student can succeed.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Education or a related field.
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
- Supervisory Endorsement (required).
- Experience working with diverse learners and students with varying academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned to students' IEP goals.
- Co-teach with general education teachers or independently lead a special education classroom, depending on program needs.
- Develop and implement differentiated lessons and instructional strategies.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Salary Description
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
