POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Client Services Supervisor (Processing) oversees the daily work of CSR (Processing) engaged in back-office
processing within assigned functional areas of the Tax Collector's Office. This position ensures the accurate,
timely, and compliant processing of tax, motor vehicle, payment, mail, electronic transactions, and related
operational functions in accordance with Florida Statutes, DHSMV regulations, and departmental policies.
This role is responsible for workflow coordination, quality control, staff supervision, training, and performance
oversight in a production-based environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervises and assigns daily work to (CSR) Processing, ensuring efficient workload distribution and timely completion of assignments.
- Monitors workflow queues, production levels, and transaction volumes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to operational standards.
- Reviews completed work, including transactions, applications, and system entries, to ensure compliance with statutes, regulations, and internal procedures.
- Provides employee training, onboarding, coaching, counseling, and ongoing instruction to support performance and development.
- Conducts performance evaluations and recommends corrective actions or improvement plans when necessary.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves escalated processing issues, complex discrepancies, and transaction exceptions.
- Ensures daily balancing and reconciliation of transactions, reports, and operational outputs to maintain accuracy and financial integrity.
- Communicates with internal departments and external agencies to resolve operational issues and support timely processing.
- Assists with implementing procedural updates, workflow changes, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Monitors compliance with internal controls, security procedures, and regulatory requirements, and prepares basic operational reports on productivity and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 60 college level credit hours
- Two (2) years of clerical, administrative, or transaction processing experience.
- One (1) year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job may be considered.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
