Description

Job Purpose


The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring that the daily functions and procedures of the Corporate Warehouse are completed efficiently.

  • Assists with order fulfillment, shipment tracking, customer shipment processing and return processing.
  • Loading and unloading of materials and products from pallets.
  • Control inventory levels through accurate inbound and outbound receiving of purchase orders and store supplies.
  • Maintains safe and efficient physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing organizational layouts.
  • Daily remove trash from all office/warehouse areas, restock bathroom supplies, and general facility maintenance.
  • Meet cost productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
  • Order shipping supplies and track stock levels.  
  • Complete regular physical inventory process.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma, GED or Military experience 
  • 1-2 years of inventory management or warehouse experience, preferred
  • Computer skills: Microsoft and Google Office Suite 
  • Must be able to work some evenings, occasional weekends, and holidays during peak season.
  • Regular predictable attendance. 

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets along with warehouse equipment such as ladders, power garage doors, box cutters, and tape measures.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, stoop and walk for extended periods of time. The ability to safely climb a ladder is required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the work hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand (this may be more frequent during busy times).

Salary Description
$21 - $23 per hour
