About the Role
This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, assess, and hire qualified caregivers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support the company’s growing operations. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.
This is a recruitment-focused role centered on talent sourcing, candidate assessment, relationship building, and recruitment process management. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and results-driven, with the ability to identify talent across multiple markets while maintaining accurate recruitment records and ensuring positions are filled in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Sourcing
- Post and manage job advertisements across various job boards and recruitment platforms.
- Source, attract, and build pipelines of qualified caregivers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop sourcing strategies based on hiring needs across different states and markets.
- Build and maintain a strong network of active and passive candidates.
Candidate Screening & Selection
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Recruitment Operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Track candidate progress and ensure recruitment activities are documented.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and hiring progress.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Scheduling, and other internal teams to support a smooth hiring process.
Workforce Planning
- Understand staffing demands across different states and proactively recruit based on market-specific hiring needs.
- Partner with leadership to anticipate hiring demands and develop talent pipelines for current and future openings.
- Stay informed on market trends, candidate availability, and competitive recruiting practices.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or full-cycle recruiting.
- Experience recruiting caregivers, nurses, healthcare professionals, or high-volume operational roles is preferred.
- Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with sourcing candidates across multiple states or geographic markets.
- Experience using JazzHR or other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or other sourcing platforms.
- Knowledge of recruitment metrics, pipeline management, and full-cycle recruiting best practices.
