What You'll Do 

Provides customer service and sales operations support for domestic and international customers within a manufacturing environment. Serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order status, and account support while coordinating the organization's Request for Quote (RFQ) process from receipt through completion. Partners with sales, engineering, production, and other internal teams to ensure accurate communication, timely quote delivery, and exceptional customer service. Supports continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction 

Requirements
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned domestic distributors and international accounts, providing timely and professional support regarding orders, pricing, lead times, and delivery status.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues  related to orders, shipments, documentation, billing, and product  information by coordinating with internal departments.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Coordinate communication related to international shipments, export documentation, and customer-specific order  requirements.
  • Receive, review, and organize incoming Requests for Quote (RFQs), ensuring all required drawings, specifications, and customer documentation are complete.
  • Distribute quote packages to the appropriate internal teams and monitor quote progress to support on-time completion.
  • Maintain centralized quote tracking and documentation, providing status updates to internal stakeholders and customers as appropriate.
  • Prioritize quote requests based on customer commitments, business needs, and established deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate customer, order, and quoting records within ERP, CRM, and other business systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes, quote administration, and workflow efficiency.
  • Support departmental objectives and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements 

 What We're Looking For 

  •  High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of customer service, sales support, order administration, or account coordination experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting RFQ processes, distributors, international customers, or export documentation is preferred.

   REQUIRED SKILLS  

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in processing customer orders and quote documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across sales, engineering, production, quality, shipping, and other functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word, and experience using ERP and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle controlled or sensitive business information.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, AS9100,ITAR, export requirements, or Incoterms is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to access information and hardware subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations, including U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents, Political Asylees, or Refugees.
  • Strong English communication skills, including the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend instructions and technical information.
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus. 

     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  •  Primarily sedentary work performed in an office environment with frequent use of a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Frequently communicates with customers and employees in person, by telephone, and electronically.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • May require periodic visits to manufacturing areas where the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) is necessary and exposure to moderate noise levels is possible.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
