XTIVIA: Business Central Functional Consultant

How you will make a difference
The XTIVIA Functional Consultant role is responsible for working closely with clients to understand their business requirements, translate these into functional specifications, and ensure that the implementation of solutions meets the desired outcomes. You will act as a bridge between the business and technical teams, ensuring that the solution is aligned with business goals.
- Lead client discovery sessions to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of business processes and objectives.
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into functional specifications for technical teams.
- Design, configure, and validate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions that align with client business requirements, collaborating with technical consultants and developers as needed.
- Develop detailed process maps to outline current and future business processes.
- Lead functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Deliver end-user training, facilitate go-live activities, and provide post-implementation support to ensure successful user adoption.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
- Assist in project planning, timeline estimation, and coordination of project activities to ensure successful delivery.
What you bring to your new team
- 3+ years of client-facing experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as a Functional Consultant.
- Hands-on experience configuring and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across one or more functional areas such as Finance, Manufacturing, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Purchasing, Sales, or Supply Chain.
- Experience leading client discovery sessions, gathering business requirements, and translating them into functional solution designs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions.

Salary range between $105,000-$125,000 commensurate with experience.
