Sales Trainer
Job Type
Full-time
Description

J&J Exterminating is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and talented Corporate Sales Trainer to join our sales leadership team, supporting our Louisiana and East Texas regions. The Corporate Sales Trainer is a highly visible field leadership position responsible for developing Account Managers, supporting Branch Managers, and strengthening sales execution across the organization. You will contribute to the profitability and growth of our sales organization through the implementation of sales training plans, programs, and processes that support the business goals and objectives of J&J Exterminating.

This role requires extensive travel — approximately 75%–100% of the schedule (3 to 5 days each week) — working directly with Residential and Commercial Account Managers at branches throughout Louisiana and surrounding areas. The remainder of the schedule is spent facilitating virtual and in-person training sessions, supporting new-hire onboarding, and advancing training curriculums, programs, and best practices.

 WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Coach Account Managers in the field through ride-alongs, observing live sales interactions, providing real-time coaching, and helping strengthen selling and follow-up skills.
  • Lead new-hire onboarding and development, helping new Account Managers reach readiness quickly and confidently.
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions built around proven curriculums, programs, and best practices.
  • Partner with Branch Managers to understand branch needs, identify coaching priorities, and support sales goals.
  • Help Account Managers manage their pipeline effectively — lead follow-up, opportunity management, and CRM best practices.
  • Document coaching and development activity to track progress and support consistent follow-through.
  • Analyze sales trends and performance data to determine where training support will have the greatest impact.
  • Support special projects and training initiatives that strengthen the sales organization.

WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE This is a role for a self-starter who loves developing people. The strongest fit is someone who:

  • Plans their week with purpose and manages their own schedule and territory with minimal supervision.
  • Communicates proactively — with the people they support, and with leadership.
  • Is organized and disciplined with documentation, follow-up, and reporting.
  • Is energized by coaching, teaching, and watching others succeed.
  • Is comfortable balancing time in the field with administrative, planning, and sales-support work.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary plus quarterly and annual incentive bonus opportunities tied to sales goals

  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Supplemental insurance package
  • Paid time off
  • Company-supplied vehicle
  • Gas (fuel) card
  • Per diem for food
  • Quarterly and annual incentive bonus pay

SCHEDULE & WORK LOCATION Monday to Friday. Travel on the road to branch offices across Louisiana and East Texas.
