Outpatient Mental Health Therapist


Full-Time, Part-Time, Flexible FTE, and Contract-to-Hire Opportunities

Location: North/Northwest North Dakota
Setting: Intensive Outpatient Therapy Program
Population: Older Adults, Typically Ages 65+
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Senior Life Solutions is connecting with master’s-level Therapists, Social Workers, and Counselors interested in current and upcoming opportunities within our established Intensive Outpatient Therapy Program in North/Northwest North Dakota.

We are considering candidates for full-time, part-time, flexible FTE, and contract-to-hire opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking meaningful work, a collaborative care environment, and the ability to explore a long-term fit with our organization.


PMC may provide clinical supervision for eligible provisionally licensed Therapists, Counselors, and Social Workers.


What You’ll Do


You’ll work alongside a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team to provide compassionate mental health support to older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, isolation, and other challenges associated with aging and life transitions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with a care team that may include a psychiatric provider, RN Program Director, and Office and Patient Coordinator
  • Using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to assess patient needs and develop, personalize, and update treatment plans
  • Facilitating group therapy sessions as the program’s primary treatment approach
  • Providing individual and family therapy as needed
  • Completing accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Medicare and organizational guidelines
  • Supporting local community education and outreach efforts
  • Performing other responsibilities as assigned

Schedule and Work-Life Balance

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • No weekends
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Full-time, part-time, flexible FTE, and contract-to-hire options may be available

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Current or eligible North Dakota license in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another recognized mental health discipline
  • Licensure may include LCSW, LMSW, LPCC, LPC, LMFT, or another applicable credential
  • Provisionally licensed candidates are encouraged to apply when supervision requirements can be supported
  • Ability to work with kindness, accountability, and a commitment to improving patients’ quality of life
  • Experience working with older adults or providing group therapy is preferred but not required

Requirements
  • Licensure: License in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state; may include LISW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc. – required
