HR Assistant (Bilingual)
Description

Job Purpose: The HR Assistant assists Payroll and Benefits, the Human Resources Department, as well as performs additional administrative duties as needed.

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Print daily labor reports and perform manual corrections with supervisor’s approval.

2. Professionally administer incoming calls and ensure they are redirected accordingly; Answer all routine and non-routine questions.

3. Keep office supply inventory. Order office supplies, create and print forms for various departments.

4. Update Made 2 Manage Software with new hires/terms per Human Resources request.

5. Import Driver hours into database and ensure accuracy.

6. Assists with onboarding and recruitment as needed. 

7. Instructs new employee orientation for new hires.

8. Keep records of all credit card expense reports/receipts. Forward violations on expenditures to HR Director.

9. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

10. Assists with annual open enrollment for employee benefits. 

11. Performs additional duties as needed.

12. Ensures office machine maintenance.

13. Offers translation services company wide as needed.


Pay Range $17/hr - $27/hr depending on skills and experience.

M-F 7am-4pm with 1 hour lunch

BCBS (medical and dental) employee only benefit paid by employer*

One week unpaid holiday around end of December.

1. Fluent in Spanish and English.

2. Previous customer service, administrative or clerical experience.

3. High school diploma or equivalent. 

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate detailed information to customers, coworkers and management with the ability to provide public speaking and customer presentations as needed.

5. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, job instructions and basic problem solving skills.

6. Ability to manually add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

7. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

8. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and multi-task effectively.

9. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

10. Ability to operate computer and computer software, to include Microsoft Office products.

11. Ability to use department equipment.

12. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Salary Description
$17-$27/hour
