Position Summary
EAM Worldwide is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, configuration, manufacturing, and continuous improvement of our aerospace products. This role is responsible for managing engineering changes, maintaining product documentation, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, and providing engineering support to production, quality, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering changes (ECNs/ECRs), product configurations, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Create and update AutoCAD drawings, SolidWorks models, and engineering documentation.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and product issues and perform RCCA investigations.
- Conduct product testing, analyze results, and prepare technical reports.
- Provide engineering support to production, quality, suppliers, and customers.
- Assist with pFMEAs and support Airbus Production Organization Approval (POA) and Boeing program requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable aerospace quality standards.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical engineering experience; aerospace experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD required; SolidWorks experience preferred.
- Experience with engineering change management, RCCA, product testing, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of GD&T, Bills of Material (BOMs), and engineering drawings; familiarity with AS9100 and ERP/PDM systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
