Position Summary
Kunes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department team. In this role, you'll oversee daily service operations, manage and coach a team of technicians and service advisors, and ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience from check-in to pickup. Whether you're currently a service manager, service advisor, or ready to step into a leadership role, we provide the training and support to help you build a successful career.
Compensation
- $120,000+

Responsibilities
- Manage the service department's daily workflow, scheduling, and staff to meet customer needs and business goals
- Greet and communicate with customers regarding vehicle repairs, maintenance recommendations, and estimated timelines
- Oversee accurate diagnosis of vehicle issues and ensure quality repairs are completed on schedule
- Provide customers with clear, timely updates throughout the service process
- Monitor department performance, customer satisfaction scores, and service revenue
- Train, coach, and support service advisors and technicians
- Maintain compliance with dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards
Qualifications
- Prior automotive service management, service advising, or related dealership experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including service management software
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Solid math and analytical skills for estimates, billing, and reporting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
