About Birdcall
Birdcall is a technology-driven, fast-casual restaurant brand built around simple, high-quality food and genuine hospitality. As we continue to grow across Colorado, Arizona, and Texas, we're looking for people-first leaders who want to build a career in restaurant management.
About the Role
As an Hourly Manager, you'll lead the floor during your shifts — overseeing food quality, guest service, and team performance while keeping the restaurant clean, safe, and running smoothly. You'll work closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, stepping in as a hands-on leader who trains, coaches, and motivates the team to deliver a great guest experience every shift.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people, and wants to grow into higher-level restaurant leadership.
What You'll Do
Guest Experience & Quality
? Oversee food and beverage quality, including line checks, prep, plating, and ticket times
? Train team members on new menu items and ensure consistent execution
? “Work the floor” during peak hours, connect with guests, and resolve any complaints on the spot
Team Leadership
? Lead and supervise team members during your shifts
? Provide ongoing training, coaching, and real-time feedback
? Support a positive, respectful, and harassment-free work environment
Operations & Financial Stewardship
? Manage labor, food cost, and waste through smart scheduling and proper procedures
? Follow cash handling, security, and banking procedures
? Complete shift duties, logs, and manager tasks accurately and on time
Communication
? Run pre-shift and quick check-in meetings to keep the team aligned
? Share feedback and updates with management
? Flag any concerns about product, procedures, or people in a timely way
